Jane Sweater features a bold shoulder and a two-layer illusion.
Designed seamlessly in only one piece, the sweater sports a vest silhouette and overlaid sleeves. It is worked top-down in stockinette stitch. First, back and front are knit separately back and forth. Then, they are joined at the underarm and the sweater is worked in the round to the hem. The folded shoulder is picked up along the armhole, and then folded over and sewn down on the WS. After that, stitches are put on hold and one continues to work the sleeve to the cuff. The sleeves are also shaped by some decreases. The folded neck is worked by picking up the stitches from the neckline.
The model in the picture is 169 cm tall and wears a size 2.
