Shape and texture define this simple yet versatile cardigan.
Winter cardigan with a lovely eyelet detail, voluminous silhouette, drooping shoulders, and boxy fit.
Inspired by the classic menswear style, Ingrid cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece. The button bands and collar are worked at the end and finished with careful attention to detail.
The model in the picture is 169 cm / 5.75” tall and wears a size 2.

10 (10, 11, 11, 12) (13, 13, 14) skeins of Woolia by Gepard (50 g = 132 m / 144 yds) (100% organic merino) and 6 (6, 7, 7, 7) (8, 8, 9) skeins of Kid Seta by Gepard (25 g = 210 m / 230 yds) (70% super kid mohair and 30% shappe silk).
The cardigan is knitted by holding two strands of yarn together.
For the sample, we used Woolia in colourway “190” and Kid Seta in the colourway “485”.
NEEDLES
5 mm / US 8 circular needle, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” for the main body and cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the sleeves.
4 mm / US 6 circular needle, cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the ribbing.
GAUGE
After blocking: 17 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 ” on 5 mm / US8 needles in pattern stitch worked flat.
