A timeless vest, a must-have for any occasion.

Classic fit. Perfect to wear with a t-shirt or a dress underneath. It is knit in a fun yet simple ridged rib texture, which creates a pretty contrast to the simple unisex look of the garment. It features a contrast 2×2 rib on the hem, neck, and edging.

The vest is worked from the bottom up. The back is shaped with short rows for a more comfortable fit. Front and back are joined together at the shoulder.

4 (5, 5, 6, 6) (7, 7, 7, 7, 8) skeins of Kidsilk Lace Gregoria Fibers (25g = 230 yards/ 210 m) (73% superkid mohair, 27% silk).

The vest is worked by holding two strands of yarn together (one of Kidsilk Lace and one of Natural Cotton Merino).

For the sample we used one strand of our colourway “Mauve” of Kidsilk Lace and one strand of our colourway “Chocolate” of Natural Cotton Merino.

Same yardage Como tweed (25g = 131 yards/120 m) (100% merino) together with Premia (25g = 328yards/ 300 m) (60% superkid mohair, 40% silk) both by Lamana (one strand of each).

4 mm / US 6 circular needles, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” in pattern stitch.

3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles, cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the ribbing.
