The perfect everyday carry-all clutch.
The main section is knitted in a timeless structured knit-purl pattern. The edges are knitted in stockinette stitch while the plackets are knitted in a lovely seed stitch. The clutch features a zip closure and lining and it is worked in one piece from the bottom up. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for creating the lining.

YARN
1 skein of Natural Cotton Merino Gregoria Fibers (50g = 180 yards/165 m) (70% cotton, 30% merino).
1 skein of Kidsilk Lace Gregoria Fibers (25g = 230 yards/ 210 m) (73% superkid mohair, 27% silk).
The clutch is worked by holding two strands of yarn together (one of Kidsilk Lace and one of Natural Cotton Merino).
For the sample, we used one strand of our colourway “Ivory” of Kidsilk Lace and one strand of our colourway “Bone” of Natural Cotton Merino.
NEEDLES
4 mm / US 6 circular needles, cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” and 80 or 100 cm/ 32 or 40”.
4 mm / US 6 DPNs.
2.5 mm / US 3 circular needles, cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24”.
2.5 mm / US 3 DPNs.
GAUGE
20 stitches x 27 rounds = 10 cm / 4” on 4 mm / US 6 needles.
